Bainbridge Island Press has a few podcasts for poets on book formatting. If poets listened to those in tandem with submitting, it would make a lot of publishers very happy! For example, long lines: if the line is formatted for an 8.5x11 page, and it's going into a 6x9 book, the line is going to get reformatted.
