I appreciated DeNicola's comments about how she wove thematic material together. Her comments specific to the placement of a poem from a Chekhov short story in the body of her manuscript was fascinating. It speaks to resisting the linear in manuscript building.
What an intriguing interview...I love many of the ideas such as dreams allowing you to experience different subjectivity, and at the end "the unconscious is telling you things that you didn't know you knew." My writing practice, which often begins with describing a scene or object without any other intention, hopes to invite the unconscious to tell me things I don't know, and sometimes it does. Allow language, image, metaphor to lead me invites the unconscious I think. Thanks Radha and Deborah!

So very tender.
